Sparkle Shines the Spotlight on Domestic Violence

Like the 1976 classic, the Sparkle remake, which ranked fifth at the box office during its opening weekend,  made us smile, sing, cheer, clap and cry.

 

For as much as the film is about music, fashion and faith, it is about the dark side of the pursuit of fame and fortune.
